Mother and Daughter in magenta

I made this surly for the color magenta. Its a palette knife painting. A combination of red and violet, magenta contains the passion, power and energy of red, restrained by the introspection and quiet energy of violet. Magenta influences our whole personal and spiritual development. It strengthens our intuition and psychic ability while assisting us to rise above the everyday dramas of our daily life to experience a greater level of awareness and knowledge.
This color is an instrument of change and transformation; it helps to release old emotional patterns that prevent personal and spiritual development and aids us in moving forward.
I would love to know what YOU think about it?

Mother and Daughter in Magenta by Artist Singh

This beautiful work is a commission painting for a collector and a friend. He wanted to me to express the beauty in Magenta. This is what I have come up with. I hope he likes it!

Mother and Daughter in Mazenta
by Artist Singh
Magenta is a color of universal harmony and emotional balance. It is spiritual yet practical, encouraging common sense and a balanced outlook on life. The color magenta helps to create harmony and balance in every aspect of life; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Magenta is uplifting to our spirits during times of unhappiness, anger or frustration.
In the meaning of colors, magenta represents universal love at its highest level. It promotes compassion, kindness and cooperation and encourages a sense of self respect and contentment in those who use it. Gentle and caring in its approach, it generates acceptance, tolerance, support and patience.
The color magenta is a color of cheerfulness, happiness, contentment and appreciation for what you have acquired and achieved. Most people feel more optimistic when in the company of magenta.
Magenta is the color of the non-conformist, the free spirit. It pushes you to take responsibility for creating your own path in life and increases dream activity while assisting you in turning your ambitions and desires into reality.

A strong and inspiring color, magenta can appear outrageous and shocking on one hand or innovative and imaginative on the other. It is creativity inspired by beauty.
Magenta is spontaneous and impulsive, yet resourceful and organized. It is invaluable in negotiating peace and calm in those who are at odds with one another.
From a negative perspective, magenta can promote depression and despair in some, and prevent others from dealing with challenges - it may be just too relaxing for introverts and the chronically depressed. Being surrounded by too much magenta energy can generate arrogance and bossiness making us feel overwhelmed, irritated, anxious and intolerant.

An excess of magenta energy can be balanced by introducing green into your surroundings..... learn more about colors from Judy at: http://www.empower-yourself-with-color-psychology.com/index.html

Through the eyes of Donna Weinberg

AS before this fascinating detour in my life happened when Artist Singh asked to take photos of me as I rode Bob ( Sweet Cody TWBEA) home from the local Memorial day parade. I had ridden "Bob" as I wanted a quiet ride with no surprizes, and to be able to attend the service at the end of the parade at the cemetary. Bob stood quitely dozing through the service and hardly flinched when the 21 gun salute was completed. Our ride towards home was also uneventful, other than the detour to a  convienenvce store to pick up the local newspaper and drinks for us for the ride home ( our Walkers love to drink pop) .  A few people were puzzled about the horse tethererd to the post outside the gas station!
Artist Singh went door to door several weeks later looking for information about the horse and myself.  He explained what he planned to do and did I know any other horsewomen.
So my friend and breeder of TWH, Ginny Munn, and Hannah Schwartz, (my daughter)  became involved in the project with several other friends and breeds of horses. All of my experiences with the TWBEA has been through  Virginia "Ginny" Munn and I purchased both Sweet Cody (AKA BOB) and "Ike's Rockin Graffiti" from her. Ginny's stallion "Rock on John"  is Ike's 1/2 brother.
Other breeds that are in the mural are Appaloosa, Arabian, Foundation Quarter horse, and Paint.
Bob was a wonderful represenative of his breed when we took him into downtown Grand Rapids on the last weekend of the ARTPRIZE event. Someone was quoted as saying " WOW a real horse!"  Bob calmly unlaoded from the trailer and walked through the crowd and other art exhibits as if nothing was new to him

Artist Singh has more on this artwork at: artistsingh.blogspot.com.  Do look at this and I have enclosed his email address so you may contact him. The mural is entitled " The Power of Women"
Please do look at Artprize.org. This was the third year in Grand Rapids Michigan for the event.

DRIP PAINT ON MY yAMAHA FZ6

When I bought this bike it was red solid color (Yamaha Fz6 street fighter) . I love the way it came out.  Here, I got black base with yellow and red dripings and its more of red looking than yellow because the original color of the bike was red.
